AEM Developer

Adobe Experience Manager (aem) Developer

Location: Remote in CONUS, working EST business hours. Travel to Washington DC area for onboarding required.

INCATech is searching for an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer with knowledge of the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to support a federal government program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee technical implementation of Adobe Experience Manager-based large scale web product that meets client requirements using Touch UI.
• Configure the architecture, design, and implement scalable and maintainable solutions leveraging AEM features such as components, templates, workflows, and client libraries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, content strategist, UX designers, and business stakeholders, to define technical requirements and guide the implementation of AEM features.
• Conduct code reviews and participate in Agile/Scrum processes to ensure successful project delivery.
• Work in a full software development life cycle.
• Attend Agile ceremonies.
• Work in collaboration with other developers on the team.
• Work closely with DevOps engineer to deliver high quality products.
  
  
  

Requirements

Related Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
• MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
• MUST have extensive (5+ years) experience developing with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), with experience using Touch UI.
• Working experience with Java 8 or Java 11, Sightly/HTL, HTML 5, CSS 3, SASS or LESS, and JavaScript ES6+.
• Familiarity with Apache Sling modeling and services.
• Familiarity with the OSGi module system and the OSGi lifecycle.
• Familiarity with NodeJS, Node modules, NPM, and Webpack.
• Experience requesting and consuming JSON from third-party APIs.
• Experience with Maven and Maven build lifecycles.
• Experience using AEM in its full capability and maximizing the value of the software license.
• Comfortable working with command line tools (Unix/Linux or PowerShell).
• Experience with building reusable and scalable components and templates based on client requirements.
• Ability to determine correct configuration mechanisms for software modules.
• Experience in writing unit tests in Selenium, or similar framework.
• Experience working with Git.
• Ability to contribute to team’s best coding practices.
• Ability to work closely with business analysts to define technical user stories and tasks.
