The opportunity


Working as part of our fantastic HR team, The Global Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing our global payroll processes. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll while navigating complex local tax and labor laws across multiple regions.


Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and HR colleagues, you’ll have the opportunity to drive continuous improvements to our payroll and benefits systems. Additionally, you’ll be a trusted advisor to EPG employees, offering guidance on payroll and benefits inquiries while ensuring compliance with company policies.


Role responsibilities

How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group?


  • Provide full oversight and completion of payroll for all global locations.
  • Prepare, review and approve monthly payroll submissions in conjunction with internal teams and external payroll providers, ensuring accurate processing based on local legislation.
  • Resolve payroll issues, escalating as needed.
  • Regularly review all payroll processes, payroll controls and compliance with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance on payroll reconciliations, funding, payments and recharge of payroll costs.
  • Ensure payrolls are completed on schedule and reconciled.
  • Collect and update payroll information on a regular basis to ensure compliance with changing laws and regulations.
  • Prepare annual tax forms and filings (e.g., P11D, P60, 401k, W4, etc.).
  • Lead the response team to provide data for external and internal audits.
  • Assist with annual renewal, RFP process and communication of employee benefit plans.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and ensure we are receiving value for service.


Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise


  • Minimum 4 years of payroll and benefits experience required.
  • Professional payroll qualification (CIPP or equivalent) - preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of US and UK payroll (i.e., tax rates, tax codes, NI & statutory calculations, benefits in kind, pension AE, 401k)
  • In-depth knowledge of global payroll rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of global benefit plan administration.
