We currently have a career opportunity for a remote Sr. Paid Media Strategist to join our team.

The Sr. Paid Media Strategist leads overall performance and strategic direction for all client accounts within their portfolio. They also oversee the service and relationship quality of each account. Seniors are responsible for leading Perficient’s biggest opportunities and play an integral role in delegating, coaching, and training other team members with whom they work.

Responsibilities

Account Management:

Creates and executes digital account strategies and plans for multiple clients

Executes deep data analysis of key metrics to identify, recommend and implement changes for increasing the performance of client programs

Understands natural optimization best practices and articulates knowledge and client deliverables effectively

Manages client teams, delegates select tasks to Strategists/Specialists, and provides ongoing feedback and guidance

Reviews client deliverables for quality and ensures that recommendations and work products are sound and viable

Assists in day-to-day campaign management and optimizations as needed

Stays up-to-date with changing technology and industry trends to determine how to best leverage the latest technological developments for Perficient clients.

Client Management:

Successfully manages day-to-day client interactions seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

Develops a complete understanding of each client’s goals, markets, needs, and expectations of Perficient

Provides excellent communication via phone, emails, and direct contact

Effectively creates and delivers client performance reports and provides new, creative recommendations for improvements and best practice solutions.

Team Leadership and Development:

Embraces and encourages a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity

Motivates, leads, and manages internal teams, working collaboratively to drive programs that meet our clients’ business objectives

Drives adoption of account management best practices through leading by example, positive reinforcement, and correction.

Assists in interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, developing, and evaluating team members

Assists in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group

Business Development:

Identifies strategic opportunities to expand both additional offerings (Example: non-paid search) to existing clients and introduce paid media opportunities to existing clients using other services

Assists in brand outreach and thought-leadership initiatives including blog and newsletter articles, case studies, speaking engagements, etc.

Actively engages in prospecting and onboarding initiatives with Paid Media Director (audits, RFPs, discovery calls, deliverables, sales collateral, etc.)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or advertising preferred

3-5+ years of paid media experience

Mastery of search platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising

Experience in reporting and competitive tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, SpyFu, etc.

Experience in social media buying platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, etc.

Experience in programmatic buying platforms such as Basis/Centro, Google Ads, Simpli.fi

Experience with bid automation platforms: Adobe Ad Cloud Search (preferred), Kenshoo, Search Ads 360, etc.

Demonstrated expertise in core MS Excel functions (vlookup, pivot tables, data visualization)

Ability to develop media plans and flight plans

Ability to track and spend to budget

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong presentation skills, including at the executive level

Proven leadership ability and experience managing direct reports

Excellent project management and organization skills

Demonstrates initiative and a proactive, collaborative approach

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $45,000 to $101,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
