The Content and Developer Readiness team is seeking a
Developer Engagement Manager -Xbox to help developers understand and enter business processes with Team Xbox, including joining relevant programs such as ID@Xbox, as well as pitching for business opportunities.

Responsibilities
The right candidate will be a skilled, experienced professional with solid ties across the game industry.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with external partners, especially new Xbox partners, to help explain publishing processes, programs, services and experiences and ensure that partners are set up for success in their Xbox development journey
- Help develop developer messaging around our processes, programs, services and experiences which can be used by partner managers across Xbox
- Serve as one of Xbox’s initial points of contact for partners with new game concepts who wish to be considered for business opportunities or have questions about bringing their games to Xbox
- Work across org lines to ensure that communications with partners are up to date and that teams across Xbox are in alignment with our messaging
- Participate as a member of our content team, evaluating and playing forthcoming games to ensure Xbox fans have access to the best games possible
- Representing Xbox, including speaking publicly about Xbox publishing and business opportunities

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 4+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience within the gaming industry.
- A passion for videogames, developers, and the power of play.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 6+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience
- OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 4+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) people management experience.
- Ability to work with developers and partners globally
- Ability to create clear communication and explanation of complex situations and processes
- Collaborative, solution-orientated working style, both internally and externally
- Love of learning, and a love of sharing what you know with others
- Ability to work independently in highly ambiguous environments, with both technical and business groups internally and externally
- Self-motivating and self-directed
- A degree is a helpful way to show an ability to complete goals; it is not in any way required for those with relevant work experience
Communications M4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
