About the role:
As VP, Brand Strategy you are adept at developing targeted, transformative insights that fuel brand strategies, tactical initiatives, and behavior-changing creative campaigns. In this position, you will analyze research, trends, and data to gain a deep understanding of the target audiences’ behaviors and motivators. Armed with an understanding of each audience’s journey, and a solid knowledge of media and technology, you will help deliver innovative approaches designed to strengthen the relationship between physicians and patients. As an engaging storyteller and critical thinker, you will work collaboratively within the strategy team as well as with the account, creative, and scientific teams to produce strategic recommendations that lead to significant brand results.
What you'll do Analyze and participate in qualitative and quantitative research relating to audience (HCP, patient, and caregiver), brand, culture, and media channels to derive meaningful insightsBuild strategy maps, brand maps, and brand ladders, articulate insights and promises, and develop personas, as well as build out customer journeys and ecosystemsMonitor cultural and social trends, their impact on target attitudes, behavior and perceptions, using a variety of market and research dataWork with Chief Strategy Officer, Account leads, Scientific Directors and Creative Directors to create tight, inspiring creative briefs and translate brand insights into ideasClearly communicate and present ideas, POVs, and strategies to internal teams, clients, and prospective clientsDevelop and facilitate workshops using strategic tools and frameworksAbout you Bachelor's degree in related field (eg. Marketing, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics); Master's degree ideal12+ years strategic planning experience in a healthcare/pharma advertising agency environmentExperience with HCP and patient marketing, including Pharma brand launchExperience utilizing strategic tools for analysisExperience co-facilitating client workshopsSuperb and persuasive communications skills, both written and verbalAdept at storytellingAdvanced Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelWhat we can offer
