About The Job
We’re looking for a
Learning and Development Manager to design, deliver, and evaluate learning and development programs and offerings for individual contributors and leaders across all functions of the organization. In this role you will partner closely with cross-functional teams under the guidance of the Director of Learning and Development to design, build, and execute Tailored Brand’s learning and development programs.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Be a key partner in the development, execution, and administration of Tailored Brand’s learning and development deliverables and programs.
- Design course content, learning activities, assignments, and assessments for leaders and individual contributors.
- Develop instructor’s manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools.
- Analyze, update, and refine existing course content as needed.
- Work with Graphic Artists, Programmers, and Subject Matter Experts in the development of interactive multimedia courseware & troubleshoot problems reported by users.
- Serve as a facilitator for L&D programs.
- Partner with Store and Supply Chain training teams to scale relevant learning interventions and content.
- Stay current on developments and innovations in training and education in our industry so that Tailored Brand’s training remains relevant.
- Write communications regarding learning events and programs.
- Plan and schedule training sessions (venues, participant logistics, materials, communications, attendance, participant feedback, reporting, etc.)
- Communicate with senior executives regarding learning sessions and metrics of success.
- Serve as the Learning Management System administrator for leadership development and corporate individual contributor programs.
What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in leadership development, training program design and implementation
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in adult learning theory and instructional design concepts.
- Experience in innovative approaches to training delivery (eLearning, course facilitation, gamification, mobile, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills with the ability to flex to various audiences across the organization.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at prioritizing and working under time constraints, handling multiple tasks, and working independently while remaining flexible to changing priorities and assignments.
- Experience in measuring learning outcomes and business results.
- Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills; lead by example; enjoy working with others in a collaborative, social environment; effective at building and maintaining strong relationships.
Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
- Position can be remote with frequent travel to Houston, TX and Dublin, CA offices.
- Travel across North America required.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.

The starting salary for this position is $70,000-$80,000 annually and may increase to $117,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
