Job description

As C Teleport continues to grow, we're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. If you're passionate about delivering top-tier software quality and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in our success.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Python to drive our testing efforts. You will be responsible for maintaining the current suite of tests and as well, designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks, ensuring our software products meet the highest quality standards. This position requires close collaboration with the development team, ensuring every code change is thoroughly tested.

Note:

For this position, we are seeking remote candidates who are physically located within the European continent, regardless of EU membership ((GMT-1 to GMT+3 time zones) ).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Python and Playwright;
  • Create and execute automated test cases to identify defects and potential areas of improvement;
  • Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automated scripts;
  • Convert manual test cases into automated tests to improve efficiency and coverage;
  • Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and understanding of requirements;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated part;
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate automation testing activities;


Qualifications & Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in Test Automation Development;
  • Experience testing Web Service APIs with manual and automation tools;
  • Expertise in Python, with hands-on experience in frameworks like Playwright;
  • Proficiency in Postman for API testing and experience validating web services using both manual and automated approaches;
  • Experience with Swagger to review API specifications and generate test cases;
  • Experience with TeamCity or other similar continuous integration/delivery platforms;
  • Experience with Git, including version control, branching, merging, and collaboration in a team environment;
  • Experience with TestRail and integration of automated tests for comprehensive test management;
  • Experience with Jira for bug tracking and task management;
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies;
