The Service Manager North Eastern Europe (NEE) for Leica Biosystems is responsible to develop, execute and achieve commercial service programs, with a high focus on Customer and Partners, that will drive the growth of Leica Biosystems business in the Region.

This position is part of the Leica Biosystems commercial team that operates within Benelux, Nordics and Eastern Europe markets.

You will be a part of the Northern Eastern Europe SU team and report to the Commercial Director, responsible to provide direction, leadership, coaching for both the field service team and technical assistance team members.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be hands-on, using a very broad skill set which demonstrates commercial acumen, ability to identify areas of improvement, effective communication of proposed solutions, collaborate and coordinate with all commercial stakeholders (i.e. internal and external), own the KPI’s that translate the strategy execution.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Define the regional field and commercial service strategy in conjunction with the NEE Commercial Director and in partnership of the regional sales organization, across all product groups and sub-regions
  • Manage customer and partners relationships and drive customer satisfaction, by providing service support according to customer needs and as per the level agreements established
  • Strong leadership and talent development skills as a people’s manager
  • Drive results with commercial programs, efficient service structure and processes, while developing, monitoring and implement corrective actions on the set of Service related KPI’s
  • Support the tender preparation, contract negotiation with external stakeholders and active management of the key accounts in the area of service
  • Achieve Service productivity and financial targets defined on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis
  • Actively contribute to service improvements projects in the NEE and EMEA regions, fostering a DBS culture and continuous improvement

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Solid experience working in similar management roles
  • Anatomical Pathology, Healthcare and/or IVDR business frame
  • Proven track record of service improvement initiatives to achieve commercial excellence
