Where do you fit in?

We're on the hunt for a Senior Localisation Specialist. This role provides coordination inside the Localisation Team. The Senior Localisation Specialists coordinates the localisation planning and implementation at study level, and facilitates the delivery of translations deliverables including eCOA, text translations, subtitling, voiceover, and linguistically validated translations for assigned data quality projects. S/he will assume oversight of select projects as assigned. Will also be actively involved in localisation services design, effectively participating also in bidding phase and project scoping. Acts as Vendor Manager for the 3rd party Translation Vendors assigned and is a Sponsor-facing role, acting also as internal resource pool manager. Senior localisation specialist is also the 1st level escalation point related to Localisation.

What are the responsibilities for a Senior Localisation Specialist?:

  • Is accountable for successful delivery of localisation activities, to meet key project milestones within the expected quality level, whilst adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Signant Health processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintains a close working relationship with the project team . Is responsible to assure that key stakeholders / premier client requirements are met and that processes are aligned with Signant Health best practices and consistently applied.
  • Key participant in process improvement activities, assuring adherence within the Localisation Team.
  • Raise quotes, POs, confirm invoices as per internal processes.
  • Supports the localisation process of eCOA solutions and manuals (eg. Quick reference guides, Device labels, Site manuals for some countries) with translations.
  • Support the planning for the localisation team including resource, workload and capacity management. Acts as resource pool manager inside the team.
  • Engage with, coordinate and communicate with translation vendors regarding project status and logistics. Act as Vendor Manager over the performance of the 3rd party Translations Vendors assigned.
  • Prepare project status reports including weekly/monthly metrics for manager and department reporting.
  • Create an environment with good morale and a strong work ethic, minimizing staff turnover.
  • The Senior Localisation Specialist will coordinate the language services for high complexity projects and will streamline work with Translation Vendors, agreeing on quotes and creating Purchase Orders.

You’ll need to bring:

  • At least 3 years office experience.
  • Technical background would be an advantage.
  • Must have excellent time management, communication (oral and written), and organizational skills.
  • Must have solid MS Office Suite experience – Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all members of Global Project Management teams.
  • Able to multi-task and work with multiple team members.
  • Must be detail orientated.

We’d be thrilled to hear that you also have:

  • Understanding and/or experience of clinical trials/pharmaceutical industry is an advantage, but not mandatory.
