Then come and join our Great Britain and Ireland Point of Care team as a Regional Sales Manager – North West, to help bring diagnostics closer to the patient and help save lives.

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for all the sales and customer relationship management activities associated with the Siemens Point of Care portfolio within their designated region. These activities should focus on sales growth of existing customers as well as business development activities in competitive accounts within their region. The RSM will work in coordination with other regional sales managers across the UK and will be supported by an Area Sales Manager, Product & Marketing Managers, as well as Point of Care Technical Specialists. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of the NHS and private healthcare procurement and a drive to succeed and improve patient care.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will drive the business success and growth across your region through account growth and new business generation.
  • You will proactively maintain existing business through account management and working with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will create a regional business strategy to deliver on the growth expectations.
  • You will perform product demonstrations to potential customers to drive the need and want.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a commercial and/or scientific background
  • You have strong generic IT skills (Microsoft Office etc.).
  • You have knowledge of the UK healthcare system (NHS and private), preferably relating to in-vitro diagnostics and Point of Care.
  • You possess outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills and have the ability to explain complex information clearly and vividly.
