Role: Senior Credit Assessor

Work Arrangement: Work from Home

Schedule: Morning shift


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed credit assessments for loan applications before submission to banks.
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to determine the creditworthiness of applicants.
  • Ensure all assessments comply with Australian banking policies and regulations.
  • Determine monthly living expenses using Excel cash deck reports.


Qualification and requirements:

  • At least 5 years of continued experience in a credit assessment role within the financial services industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of Australian banking policies and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and credit risk assessment.
  • Ability to train and mentor junior staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Mercury Nexus software.
  • High proficiency in document management and CRM systems.
  • Ability to determine monthly living expenses using Excel cash deck reports.
  • Strong follow-up skills with clients and banks.


Non-negotiable skills & requirements:

  • Proven experience in servicing, pricing, and valuation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements (Australian banking policies and regulations
