Requirements:
- Strong English, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of the client’s team.
- Minimum 4 years of recent backend experience with PHP.
- Experience with Docker.
- Familiarity with the Symfony framework.
- Familiarity with MySQL.
- Experience with PHP migration.
- Experience with other migrations, demonstrating the ability to understand and rewrite existing code.
- Experience migrating monolithic application into microservices.
- Experience with cloud environments.
- Competencies: Agile Mindset, communicative/ good to have a technical discussion with, cooperative and curious about the team (members), adaptable, enthusiastic and naturally keen on projects/ products, team fit.
- Principles: Scrum, agile Development, SOLID, code reviewing, pair programming.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand the existing code base.
- Rewrite code using recent technologies with good test coverage.
- Identify tactical and long-term improvements.
- Collaborate with team members and report progress on a daily basis.
- Maintain technical documentation.
