IF YOU ARE

  • A specialist with 5+ years of professional experience as an SDET or a Test Automation Engineer using object-oriented design and coding skills
  • Having 4+ years of track record of Ruby and JRuby with specific expertise in Cucumber, Rspec and Aruba
  • Skilled in Java and its test automation frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, Spock, RestAssured, and others (2+ years of hands-on experience)
  • Knowledgeable in testing with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.), including cloud-native and cloud-hosted databases (AWS RDS, AzureDB, etc)
  • Familiar with cloud infrastructure and services (AWS/Azure) and DevOps and CI/CD Tools (for ex. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Travis CI, CircleCI, etc.)
  • Adept at developing test tools, frameworks, and automated tests in scripting and object-oriented languages for command-line interfaces, web applications, and REST APIs
  • Experienced in testing cloud-based web applications and services including API testing
  • Proficient in creating efficient test plans, strategies for new features and releases, test case development, and execution plans
  • Confident in Linux, MacOS & Windows
  • Accustomed to working in an Agile/Scrum development team
  • Capable of maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client side (English level Intermediate Strong or higher)

  • Help develop and drive the overall test strategy and vision for the team, aligning it with the company's goals and objectives
  • Create and oversee the execution of test plans, suites and requirements, including functional, integration, performance, and security tests, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Execute tests, monitor progress, analyze results, identify patterns, and provide comprehensive test reports and metrics to stakeholders
  • Drive actionable insights from test data and ensure decision-making processes related to software quality and release readiness
  • Ensure the design of scalable, maintainable, and efficient test automation frameworks, libraries, and tools
  • Develop complex test automation scripts using advanced programming languages and technologies
  • Ensure close collaboration with development, product management, and other engineers, for seamless integration of testing activities into the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous integration practices
  • Drive continuous improvements in test automation infrastructure and techniques
  • Mentor and coach other SDETs/QA engineers, share best practices, and promote technical excellence
  • Drive innovation and adopt emerging technologies and practices to advance testing capabilities
  • Set coding standards, ensure code reviews, and enforce best practices across the team
  • Participate in team planning and prioritization activities including in-person events such as big room planning, roadmap planning, offsites, etc.
