Job Overview
As an Account Cloud Engineer, you’ll work closely with key decision-makers to guide our customers through their cloud adoption journey. You will collaborate across Oracle’s cloud teams to ensure our solutions align with customer needs, providing strategic guidance at every step. You will orchestrate cross-functional
teams to deliver consistent, effective cloud solutions that meet customer goals.
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the following:
- Drive customer success by acting as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Oracle cloud solutions.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to gather detailed business and technical requirements.
- Architect comprehensive cloud solutions that meet customer needs and align with industry best practices.
- Present and demonstrate Oracle cloud solutions to customers, showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings.
- Create and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies by working closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance during the sales cycle, including proofs of concept (POCs) and pilot projects.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to deliver strategic insights to the sales team and customers.
- Design and deliver enterprise cloud architecture that clearly articulates business value through vision, capability models, assessments, and technical architecture.
- Lead cross-functional Oracle teams to help customers design, implement, and govern enterprise cloud architecture and solutions on time.
Key Qualifications & Competencies Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in technology and industry, with X+ years working with public cloud platforms
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as Pre-Sales Solution Architect, focusing on enterprise cloud solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications
- Experience or strong familiarity with cloud implementation and adoption cycles
- Experience with Open source, Cloud native and Oracle technologies
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities
Responsible for participating in customer engagements to collaboratively design and implement solutions. May work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions. Implements solutions and ensures successful deployments through code development and scripting. Displays product/application understanding through more customized presentation demonstrations to customers and at conferences and events. Supports customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. Creates and distributes technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations). Serves as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. Further builds business and technical acumen.
