Job Overview

Join our esteemed SQL development team in the capacity of a Database Developer! This remote role allows for a blend of in-office collaboration on Tuesdays and Thursdays, alongside a flexible third day of your choosing. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and sustain expansive SQL Server database architectures.
  • Author and enhance T-SQL code, focusing on stored procedures and functions.
  • Drive the development and upkeep of Business Intelligence initiatives utilizing SSIS, particularly in project deployment.
  • Craft and oversee SQL reports through SSRS.
  • Develop and diagnose production scripts to support internal teams effectively.
  • Innovate automation and deployment tools for Operational DBAs, ideally using PowerShell.
  • Act as a technical advisor for Operational DBAs, providing research and insight.
  • Configure and maintain database servers within the development landscape.
  • Control code and database objects using source control systems (e.g., TFS).

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2016, or newer versions.
  • Strong capability in writing and optimizing T-SQL code, including stored procedures and functions.
  • Comprehensive experience with complex SSIS and SSRS projects.
  • Ability to handle large datasets, including those ranging from 40,000 to over a million rows of data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with Microsoft SQL, with at least 4 years in an enterprise database setting and 4 years in programming.
