Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Senior Electrical Designer to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of diverse and challenging projects for our Woodland Hills office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years of experience in the design and drafting of power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for federal/DOD, commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial, multi-family, and/or high-rise facilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Approximate Base Salary – $90k to $105k based on experience.
  • Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate
  • Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
  • Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change)
  • 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution

Qualifications
  • Technical/Associate degree in engineering or related science (preferred)
  • 7+ years of design and drafting experience
  • Graduation from a certified CAD training program at an accredited institution counts as one year of experience
  • Proficient in computer-aided drafting (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Possess advanced drafting, BIM/Revit and layout skills
  • Create REVIT families and AutoCAD blocks
  • Experienced with the latest release of Autodesk AutoCAD and REVIT
  • Performing design work without supervision.
  • Knowledgeable with electrical calculations.
  • Knowledgeable with Tile-24 calculations. 
  • Experienced in training entry level designers.
