About The Role


The Product Engagement Data Analyst at Logos plays a key role in leveraging user engagement data to support Product and Program Managers, as well as other business teams, in driving strategic decisions and improvements and reporting on business metrics. This position focuses on using Amplitude, our primary user engagement data source, to conduct ad-hoc data queries, develop and standardize recurring reports, and analyze trends in product performance and customer behavior. The analyst will utilize data visualization tools like PowerBI and Amplitude’s built-in features to present insights and build models that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions on product enhancements and business innovations.


With a minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, the ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, organized, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in SQL, statistical analysis, and tools such as Amplitude, PowerBI, and Excel is highly desirable. The analyst will collaborate with teams across the organization to promote growth and innovation through data-driven insights. Experience with user engagement data analysis and reporting is highly valued.


Responsibilities

  • Perform ad-hoc data queries on Amplitude user engagement data to support day-to-day business operations
  • Develop and standardize new recurring reports for various business needs
  • Support individual analytics consumers to ensure awareness and proper use of tooling and reports
  • Identify new analytics processes and improvements and areas of growth
  • Report on key business performance metrics that pertain to product engagement as needed
  • Champion the documentation of our data system Amplitude ensuring definitions and key processes are well documented
  • Manage ongoing improvements and maintenance to Amplitude and provide support for any related tools’ setup and configuration e.g Salesforce, Azure connections.
  • Create documents that help the key stakeholders utilize Amplitude in an effective manner and ease the learning curve
  • Regularly meet with stakeholders from various teams to understand their part of the business, their challenges and opportunities, and how users engagement data can propel them.
  • Present analytics-based recommendations to help Product Managers and Program Managers to make informed decisions on product improvements and innovations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with data visualization, analysis, and reporting
  • Well organized, flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient with strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of internal management
  • Experience in a fast paced, high volume, process oriented environment
  • Ability to present details of complex data quality or workflow issues for internal review
  • Ability to take ownership of an analytics project and see it through to completion despite obstacles
  • Experience and fluency in using MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in read, writing, and speaking in English
  • Experience with PowerBI and data visualization
  • Ability to deal with data ambiguity

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience using Amplitude 
  • Experience working with product engagement data 
  • Experience in statistical analysis, and use of SQL
  • Experience with Data Bricks is a plus
