Nordson EFD, a leading provider of precision fluid dispensing systems, is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as Sales Manager Fluid Formulators & Fluid Packagers with a focus on Western Europe. Summary of the role

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Development of key account plan including share of business, competitive position, key stakeholders and strategy to increase share;

  • Conducting win/loss reviews to identify and share best practices;

  • Ensure management are provided with realistic forecasts monthly and are kept informed about significant changes in development;

  • Ensure pipeline is filled with opportunities at various stages of sales cycle;

  • Win business and increase sales;

  • Spend time in the field with individual accounts;

  • Maintain accurate reporting in line with company requirements:

    • Bi monthly forecasts and monthly sales reporting against target;

    • Monthly activity reporting including reporting on the execution of the key account plan;

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and business ethics codes;

  • Coordinate specific objectives of the Plan with other functional departments of the company;

  • Establish target markets and customers in accordance with marketing;

  • Checking daily updates regarding stock availability, production planning and shipments;

  • Other duties as may be reasonably assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years successful sales experience with at least 2 years key account management experience in addition, in the adhesives industry;

  • Engineering degree or equivalent;

  • Fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English. Other language skills like French, Spanish are welcome;

  • Experience with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, TEAMS); desirable experience with SAP, C4C and Power Bi.

Travel

  • Home office based with a minimum of 50% travel in mainly Western- Northern Europe. Very occasionally meetings in Germany or elsewhere or maybe in future visit to production plants in USA.
