Order Generation Analyst

Job Description

The Order Generation Analyst provides general support to the North America market (United States, Canada and Mexico) by creating vehicle orders for Ford Motor Company Dealer partners and analyzing their effectiveness, then adjusting as market conditions warrant. Order generation is conducted for various Dealer vehicle ordering processes: Smart Inventory Management System (SIMS), Fitness-Order-To-Delivery,, Rapid Replenishment (RR), Configured Vehicle Wholesale (CVW), Lincoln Nautilus Produced Import Vehicle Wholesale (PIVW) and Model-E VIN distribution.

Responsibilities

Your Impact:

• Main responsibility is all aspects of vehicle orders creation for SIMS, Fitness-OTD, RR, CVW, Nautilus and Model E for all North American markets (US, Canada and Mexico)
• Responsible for Fitness Order to Delivery (OTD) Entity Selection and Fitness Wholesale process for all North American markets (US, Canada and Mexico)
• Order generation according to plants and markets recommendation / requirements
• Review all order creation and VIN Distribution output prior to releases.
• Release of SIMS, Fitness, RR, CVW, and Model-E Orders (often on weekends)
• Responsible for “purge/no purge” unused SIMS on a weekly basis
• Support to internal users on OTD Analytics tool and data.
• Support to dealers and internal users on orders release, VIN Distribution and reporting queries.
• Data Set up & configuration on Order Generation and Global Wholesale Services systems.
• New Model Years vehicle line setup in Order Generation, Global Wholesale Services supporting Order Generation and Fitness processes.
• SIMS weekly and monthly output analysis for USA, Canada and Mexico markets.
• Access Management support for OTD Analytics and Order Generation tools.
  
  
  

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

• B.Sc. / B.Eng. in Industrial, Mechatronics, Data Analysis, IT, Administration or related.
• Excellent written & oral English communication skills (95% of the interaction is with US/CA)
• 2+ years of experience on management of databases.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel, experience with Alteryx (or other BI tools) is recommended.
• Great analytical skills (Interpretation of large sets of data and capacity to understand complex problems and systems)
• Curiosity, self-learning, and initiative.
• Organized, ability to follow-up on assignments.
• Focus on providing good customer service and ability to establish good interpersonal relationships.
• Availability to hybrid work (Home-Office and at Ford of Mexico Headquarters)
• Availability to support the role’s processes which, once training is complete, will be 2 times/month on Saturday and rarely Sunday. Weekend work is compensated with days-off the immediate following week. Team collaborates to select weekend rotations in effort to account for vacations, family events, etc.
• Availability to work more weekends during the training period (6 months) from Wednesday to Saturday.
• Valid US-VISA and Passport (approximately 2 trips/year for training and meetings)
