Job description

Hi, we are Samotics!
With our unique, AI-driven solution, we help many of the world's largest industrial companies reduce energy waste, prevent water pollution events, and minimize unplanned downtime. Join us in our mission to make industrial companies more sustainable.

We’re looking for a passionate Legal Counsel. Do you thrive on navigating complex legal landscapes and supporting international business operations? Ready to make a real impact in a fast-growing company? If so, keep reading!

About the team 👋

As Legal Counsel, you will be a cornerstone of legal expertise at Samotics. You will work closely with the General Counsel, based in the Netherlands, and senior leadership to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions. While your focus will be on the UK, you'll also support our operations in other international locations. This role offers the opportunity to work independently from the UK while collaborating with various teams worldwide on high-impact projects.

Your challenge 🎯

In this role, you’ll handle a diverse range of legal matters, including:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts (buying/selling agreements, tenders, partnership agreement, T&Cs etc.)

  • Overseeing insurance, corporate policies, intellectual property (IP), and employment law

  • Providing legal guidance for all sorts of corporate matters such as financing and corporate compliance

  • Working with our contract management system and taking appropriate action on notifications

  • Ensuring compliance with both UK and international legal regulations

  • Collaborating with senior leadership and participating in high-level strategic discussions

  • Working closely with teams across different countries to align legal requirements and business operations

Your ability to work independently while managing multiple projects in a remote setting will be key to your success.
