The Opportunity
Our Sales org is committed to understanding the needs and challenges of our customers, identifying creative and strategic ways that we can help solve their problems, and selling them our solutions when we can add value.
Account Executives (AE) are responsible for understanding our customers and what drives their success, effectively communicating and demonstrating the value of Buildout solutions, and aligning the right solution to solve for the unique challenges of each customer. As an Account Executive, you will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to running product demonstrations, to closing new business and handing off to the appropriate team for the next stage of the customer journey. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be joining a team that loves to brainstorm, to collaborate, to ferret down into their prospect’s problems, and a team that loves to win.
How You’ll Contribute at Buildout
Drive revenue growth in your territory by leading game-changing discovery calls, delivering impactful product demonstrations, drafting on-the-nose proposals, and winning the hearts, minds (and contracts) of your prospects
Be maniacal about your pipeline, building and maintaining a healthy set of opportunities to meet individual sales quota, including monthly and annual ACV goals
Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through proper use of sales tools
Become a commercial real estate nerd, understanding its tech industry dynamics, emerging opportunities and competitive trends
Be an expert and advocate for Buildout’s product suite, knowing its value to various personas and properly showcasing the right solutions for each customer

What You’ll Bring to Buildout
1-3+ years of quota-carrying experience with a focus on negotiating and closing business (SaaS experience preferred)
A consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
Experience managing a full sales cycle with strong emphasis on the customer journey from prospecting to close and handoff to an implementation team
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
A collaborator, your favorite deals are the ones where you helped a teammate win
Constantly improving, someone who loves feedback and proactively finds new ways to get better at their job
Insatiably curious, adaptable to change and desire to learn in a fast-paced sales environment
A dot-connecter, someone who pieces together the puzzle of a prospect’s world
Experience using Salesforce CRM preferred
Experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry is a plus

This is a fully remote role open across most of the US. The targeted compensation for this position is a base salary of $70,000 - $85,000 and OTE of $135,000 - $162,000.
