Job Summary:

The Global HR Systems Talent Engagement Lead is responsible for ensuring that HR systems are aligned with the evolving needs of the organization by working closely with functional Human Resource teams. This role involves direct collaboration with global HR teams to understand requirements, identify and address gaps, drive digital adoption, and advocate for priorities within technical workstreams. The Global HR Systems Talent Engagement Lead plays a key role in managing project schedules, ensuring timely delivery, and supporting HR in select initiatives.

In this role, the Global HR Systems Talent Engagement Lead will collaborate with HR Stakeholders, the Talent Center of Excellence (COE), the HR Systems Team, HR and IT Project Managers, vendors, production support teams, and IT Stakeholders. The goal is to ensure a coordinated, cohesive, and timely delivery of systems and solutions, including Oracle HCM Cloud Talent modules and other point systems, in support of a comprehensive global HR strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the administration of Oracle HCM modules, including Performance, Goals, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Career Development, Talent Profile, and Skills Management.
  • Lead system administration efforts during key HR activities and cycles, ensuring seamless and efficient execution.
  • Provide technical leadership and system support for the Talent Management modules, acting as the primary point of contact for any technical issues or enhancements.
  • Actively engage in system design sessions during project cycles, advocating for quality designs, and managing HR deliverables to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Play a crucial role in the leadership of enhancements, system upgrades, and critical HR cycles, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of these activities.
  • Partner with IT operations, Compliance Teams, HR Systems, and HR functional stakeholders to ensure solutions align with enterprise delivery principles and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts (BSA) and the production support team to ensure cohesive execution and alignment with established processes.
  • Document and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support organizational processes, including recurring system cycles and other critical activities.
  • Ensure that the HR Application Management Services teams adhere to all required security protocols and Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) standards as set forth by CooperVision.
  • Provide expert guidance on system configuration principles, data structures, and support for audit and compliance activities.
  • Responsible for creating and managing selected documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Offer guidance on system configurations based on established design principles, supporting users with best practices and technical advice.
  • Translate functional HR requirements into detailed design requirements, ensuring technical solutions meet business needs.
  • Facilitate and support the user testing process, including staging, providing support, and active participation to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Work closely with the HR Change Management team to ensure training environments are properly configured and supported with appropriate test data.
  • Manage intake and service delivery for all operational updates, utilizing ServiceNow to track and resolve issues in line with the SDLC process.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT Project Managers, providing support for project-based activities as needed, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Proactively seek out and participate in vendor-provided learning opportunities to maintain and enhance HCM skills, staying current with industry trends and best practices.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR processes and systems
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Talent Management
  • Commensurate technical and functional experience to perform required job duties
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office


Education:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience is required
  • Oracle Cloud certifications, a plus
  • Functional Human Resource certifications, a plus
  • Project Management certifications, a plus

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $113,181.00 and $150,908.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
