GSMA Legal provides advice to all business areas of the GSMA on competition, corporate and commercial laws. The GSMA competition team is in charge of ensuring that the GSMA complies with competition laws around the world and leads on competition policy activities for the GSMA.
The Legal Team members are based in Brussels, Atlanta, London and Barcelona.
GSMA Legal provides advice to all business areas of the GSMA on antitrust compliance. The Antitrust Counsel will support the Antitrust Director providing advice to all areas of business working closely with the Technology, Managed Services and Policy departments in particular.
The Antitrust Counsel will lead the advice on certain projects or act as main competition contact for certain teams in coordination with the Antitrust Director.
The Antitrust Counsel will be in charge of doing research, market and/or product analysis and case law review to serve as basis for the competition assessments.
The Antitrust Counsel will support GSMA’s efforts to ensure its Antitrust Compliance programs is implemented and up to date. In particular, the Antitrust Counsel will update content and provide trainings either individually or in coordination with the Antitrust Director and will be in charge of legal oversight, including documentation review and meeting coverage, of meetings and groups in coordination with the Antitrust Director.
The Antitrust Counsel will manage the Competition Experts Group comprised of competition experts from the Operator Members. The Antitrust Counsel will lead on developing and implementing GSMA advocacy strategies and positions on competition policy.
You have notable competition law experience working for a competition authority (such as the European Commission, DG Competition), as in-house competition counsel or at a law firm
You have an interest in issues that affect the mobile ecosystem
You enjoy working in international and dynamic environments
You are conformable working independently as well as part of a team
You can deliver fast and accurate advice under short deadlines
Previous experience working in the telecommunications and/or digital industries is a plus
