Niyam is seeking a Maximo Configuration Specialist in support of our work with DHS. The Maximo Configuration Specialist will serve as a technical expert on IBM’s Maximo Application Suite, focusing on system configuration. This role involves leading workshops, configuring features and database, and ensuring Maximo meets business needs and regulatory compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Maximo platform and application, database structure, object configuration, and performance optimization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead design workshops to define use cases, business objects, and relationships within the database to ensure proper configuration.
- Understand the database structure and assess the impact of changes to objects, tables, indexes, and relationships.
- Define and configure objects for applications.
- Create, modify, or delete objects, attributes, or indexes within the database as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards by configuring E-Signature verification and electronic audit records for enhanced security.
- Manage and control changes to objects within the system.
- Configure search options to improve performance and system efficiency.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- US Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust through DHS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Maximo configuration and customization.
- Relevant certifications such as IBM Certified Maximo Application Developer or related credentials.
- Experience working on projects requiring regulatory compliance in asset management systems.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Maximo Application Suite configuration, including objects, attributes, and indexes.
- In-depth knowledge of database structure and configuration implications.
- Proven ability to configure regulatory compliance measures, such as E-Signature verification and audit trails.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience optimizing database performance.
- Familiarity with system configuration for security and compliance purposes.
- Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.
