Ark Solutions Inc is looking for EHR Oracle PathNet Consultant!

Position: EHR Oracle PathNet Consultant
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 12+ Months and possibility of extension

Description:

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) Analyst with Oracle/Cerner PathNet experience. Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the IHS Modernized EHR system by combining program/project management skills with Oracle Health solutions expertise to facilitate successful EHR design and build efforts for assigned IHS clinical and/or business domain groups.
  • Must have Laboratory experience working in inpatient and/or ambulatory lab.
 
Required Skills:
  • Three or more years of relevant healthcare experience in a clinical or business role.
  • Laboratory: Experience working in inpatient and/or ambulatory lab
  • Cerner Labs PathNet General Laboratory
  • Cerner Millennium PathNet
  • Electronic Health Record EHR Software
  • Electronic Health Records (EHR) System Assessment and Implementation
  • Health Information Management
  • Integration Implementation and PMO Support
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Business analyst/ Oracle Health Solution support
  • Maintain expertise in 1 or more Oracle Health Solutions to support one or more clinical domain groups
  • Provide advisement on best practices for the configuration of one or more Oracle Health Solutions
  • Research options for decision-making and prepare decision briefs to support assigned domains
  • Understand clinical and business workflows related to assigned domains and recommend configuration options that align with best practice workflows
  • Evaluate potential configuration decisions/options for impact on system maintenance, regulatory requirements, data integrity, and reporting requirements
  • Collaborate effectively with IHS clinical and business end-users to facilitate efficient decision-making processes
  • Collaborate effectively with System Integrator/EHR Vendor teams to promote alignment to Vendor-defined best practices for system configuration and workflow
  • Participates in special projects as required
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, equivalent, or higher in Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related clinical/medical/business discipline (recommended)
