Job description

General Management Consultant

Key Role:

Shape the direction of Booz Allen’s contract landscape as a part of the Contracts, Procurement, and Pricing (CP&P) team. Conduct market, portfolio, and business analysis to inform recommendations that support procurement decision-making by the firm’s leadership. Apply a blend of big picture thinking and quantitative analytical inquiry to develop and validate business strategies. Work closely with CP&P leaders to understand their questions and needs and find their information. Provide a deep understanding of their data, but also advise what the information means and how it can be used to help business leaders make informed decisions related to our global supply chain. Work collaboratively to solve problems in support of strategic projects. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in a professional environment

  • Experience translating data into digestible products, including visualizations, reports, or presentations for senior leaders

  • Experience with data visualization, trade craft, interpreting data, trends analysis, or operational analysis

  • Knowledge of purchasing or supply chain management

  • Knowledge of working with data and applying Microsoft Excel formulas and functions, or business intelligence tools

  • Knowledge of communicating using Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and evaluating business cases

  • Ability to communicate research and analytical findings verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to learn new tools

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
