LOCATION:    Remote - Maryland

 THE OPPORTUNITY

Within Aeroflow, the Lactation Provider Group cares for lactation patients through one-on-one appointments and classes.

  •  Our patients are pregnant mothers who plan to breastfeed and postpartum mothers who are breastfeeding.
  •  This is a work from home position.
  •  To join our staff, we require organizational skills and attention to detail. You must be willing to obtain licensure in all states requested by Aeroflow; Aeroflow will assist with obtaining any new licenses and credentials needed. Additionally, must have an NPI with the primary taxonomy as lactation.

 

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently seeking an RN IBCLC in Maryland. Both RN and IBCLC are required for this job. The job role is Lactation Class Administrator which is typically responsible for:

  •  Coordinates and tracks administrative functions of the class including attendee list management, Zoom management and patient communication.
  •  Participates in classes clinically during co-teacher discussions.
  •  Acts as substitute teacher for classes as needed.
  •  Supports Aeroflow patients during one-on-one appointments when needed.
  •  Charting visits and maintaining accurate records according to payor requirements, per guidelines provided by Aeroflow.
  •  Supports and advocates for the normal physiologic functions involved in the maternal-infant process.
  •  Provides evidence-based clinical information following the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine Protocols.
  •  Enhances professional development by participating in lactation courses, workshops and exams and keeping apprised of current lactation literature
  •  Maintains certifications and/or licenses.
  •  Maintains HIPAA confidentiality.
  •  Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
  •  Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance.

 

  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Lactation IBCLC certification
  •  Maryland multistate RN license
  •  20 mbps upload speed for a wired connection or 30 mbps for a wireless connection
  •  Google Suite and Microsoft Office proficiency
  •  Resides fulltime in Virginia or Maryland
  •  Must have or be willing to obtain an NPI with the registered nursing lactation consultant taxonomy

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Employment history illustrating stability, reliability, and strong work ethic
  •  Proven ability to assess circumstances and pivot activities for the best use of time
  •  Exceptional organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
  •  50 WPM typing speed
  •  Ability to attend one monthly team administrative meeting and one monthly clinical meeting that may fall outside of the hours of your shift

 

POSITION TYPE  

Full-time: 

40 hours/week - shift schedule to be determined upon hire

  • You must be able to work the same shift(s) on the same day(s) and time(s) each week ongoing. This job has a set schedule that cannot be changed.
  • Preferred schedule includes some evening and weekend hours.
