Overview:

Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a pioneer in biomaterials manufacturing, is seeking a Marketing Specialist for a remote role based in Manassas, VA.  Background in Biology or related discipline highly preferred.  

 

Join our dynamic team as a Marketing Specialist, where you’ll drive impactful marketing initiatives, analyze data to shape strategies, and execute campaigns, including paid media, that resonate with our audience. If you’re passionate about marketing and interested in science, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:
  • Project Implementation and Content Creation: Lead the development and execution of marketing projects, delivering engaging content for our website and social channels. Write and produce marketing materials and press releases, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and organizational messaging.
  • Market Analysis and Campaign Coordination: Gather insights from product managers, prepare marketing activity reports, and respond to sales inquiries to identify new opportunities. Coordinate trade show activities, email campaigns, and surveys. Track marketing campaigns, evaluate results, and provide recommendations for future promotions. Recommend actions, plan projects, estimate costs, and manage them to completion.
  • Strategic Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives. Provide pre- and post-sale marketing support, measure campaign performance, and leverage customer insights to refine branding. Stay updated on product offerings and organizational processes to enhance marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years’ experience or equivalent experience.
  • Biology background or prior life science marketing experience highly preferred.  
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret marketing data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
