Job Overview

We are seeking a committed Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician to become an integral part of our team. In this position, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting members and healthcare providers through the prior authorization process. You will be pivotal in ensuring that all approvals and denials are documented accurately and in a timely manner, transferring clinical inquiries requiring professional judgment to our team of pharmacists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls from members, providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Deliver clear, professional assistance over the phone for the prior authorization process based on established criteria.
  • Maintain precise records of all approvals and denials, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Escalate clinical questions and cases that require expert evaluation to the pharmacist.

Qualifications
