We are looking for a
Senior Android Engineer who loves creating stable and user-friendly services. We are seeking a well-rounded technical specialist always thinking one step ahead and able to anticipate project problems and needs in any part of the application.
The team is responsible for creating new financial products from scratch.
Our mobile platform
- two applications and a mobile SDK;
- the main client application Tabby in a state of continuous growth;
- a partner application;
- +50,000 DAU;
- 99.98% crash-free rate (and we want to raise this bar even higher!);
- 4.8-4.9 rating in the App Store/Google Play;
- a large part of our users use Arabic, so Arabic-first is our priority.
Our tech stack and architecture: Kotlin, Coroutines flow, MVVM + MVI, Dagger 2, multi-module, Retrofit
Key responsibilities
You will design new products at Tabby from scratch, participating actively in taking decisions and being deeply involved at every stage of development.
Skills, knowledge & expertise
- Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency;
- Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and Coroutines;
- Understanding of MVVM architecture;
- Experience with Jetpack Compose;
- Experience with Coroutines flow or RX;
- Experience with Dagger (or another DI framework);
- Understanding of design patterns and SOLID approaches;
- Ability to work with collections, understanding their differences;
- Basic understanding of GC operation;
- Strong communication skills in order to defend your position if necessary, highlight problems and pitch your own ideas;
- “Getting things done” mindset.

Relocation
We offer remote work from anywhere in the world and are happy to work out an individual relocation plan for you.
Our employees have the opportunity to choose a country for registration: at the moment those are Armenia/Georgia/Serbia/Portugal/Spain.
We will help you open a legal entity and a bank account. In Armenia and Georgia the taxes are compensated by Tabby. In other countries we provide partial compensation of taxes.
We employ according to B2B contracts (service agreements).
For our employees we cover the following:
- Flight to one of the mentioned countries.
- Accommodation during the paperwork completion period.
- Opening a bank account and getting a residence permit in one of the mentioned countries.
- Family relocation (dependants).
New employees can also choose an alternative method of relocation to another country of their choice. In this case, Tabby will reimburse up to $5,000 of verified costs upon opening a legal entity and a bank account.
