Role Responsibilities: 

  • You will provide MSL support for the VIS business across APAC.
  • You will communicate complex medical and scientific information to the healthcare community, including addressing unsolicited medical questions, adverse event reporting, and other clinically related medical information.
  • You will develop contacts with key clinicians, university teaching hospitals, group purchase organizations and other medical / scientific groups.
  • You will develop functional working relationships with internal customers and contribute to the design and execution of plans that meet shared commercial, marketing, and clinical objectives.
  • You will act as a clinical resource with professional and advocacy organizations with the objective of developing relationships and identifying potential opportunities.
  • You will identify institutions and clinicians collecting scientific data that may have the potential for publication and/or abstract presentation.
  • You will support the Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) and company clinical study program as required.
  • You will contribute to training (internal and external) as needed, particularly in relation to the design and creation of scientific/medical content.
  • You will be capable of providing product support to customers in the clinical environment as required.
  • You will provide support to relevant internal teams in identifying and contracting health care professionals for education/training initiatives.
  • You will meet regularly with regional medical team colleagues to coordinate on strategy and medical affairs support.
  • You will work closely with the global medical affairs team on developing and executing global and regional medical strategy.

Skills & Experience Required:  

  • You have a completed Bachelor’s degree in a science/medical discipline.
  • You have knowledge/experience of Interventional Radiology or Interventional Oncology (preferred)
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • You are business fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) as this role will require you to work with different markets. Additional language skills (eg Japanese, Korean etc) will be an added advantage although not mandatory.
  • You have knowledge of national / regional regulations and industry standards regarding interactions with healthcare professionals.
  • You are self-motivated, autonomous, and accountable.
  • You have broad experience in the medical device or pharma space.
  • You have demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • You exercise independent judgment and discretion in solving complex business problems.
  • You have demonstrated ability to network and develop working relationships with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
  • You are proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
