Overview

The HRIS Systems Manager is a key member of the HR Technology team at Alnylam.

This individual will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of SAP SuccessFactors, Alnylam’s HRIS. Your functional and technical expertise will play a critical role in optimizing our SAP system to meet our business and talent objectives, while keeping Alnylam on the forefront of innovative HR technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a functional and technical resource within SuccessFactors.
  • Configure and maintain SuccessFactors HCM modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Learning, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Succession & Development.
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the SuccessFactors platform.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users on the effective use of SuccessFactors.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure data integrity, system integrations, and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, HR leadership, and IT teams.
  • Present technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, advocating for technology solutions that drive business value.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating to the vendor when necessary.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features or modules.
  • Generate reports and analyze HR data such as headcount, turnover, compensation, and time off for management.
  • Assist in developing and automating HR workflows and processes within SuccessFactors.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience working with global HCM systems, in a technical or functional role.
  • SAP SuccessFactors and certifications strongly preferred.
  • Strong client service skills with an ability to quickly establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff, both internal and external, to achieve results.
  • Solution oriented and willingness to find creative solutions to challenges and roadblocks.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred; however, the team will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
