WHAT YOU’LL DO
Taking the lead from the Marketing Director, as the Marketing Manager you’ll be responsible for strategically identifying, implementing and evaluating marketing initiatives through industry leading campaigns to drive demand for sales programs and achieve our client’s business goals. The Marketing Manager is a team player that is a vital member of their Community with the support of Marketing Coordinators and under the guidance of a Marketing Director and VP of Client Services. In this role, you must understand clients needs and wants, and have the ability to execute an innovative marketing plan on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate has experience within project marketing, having seen a development project through from start to finish. You'll have strong experience working with and leading creative professionals and individuals in technical roles and they know how to bring together multiple disciplines in order to create highly engaging campaigns that are backed by strong analytics.
Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing
Oversees all aspects of a marketing campaign from planning to execution within their assigned project portfolio
Collaborates with Sales Directors to design creative marketing strategies that utilize up-to-date tactics applicable to new development real estate projects
Ensures projects are driving quality demand through innovative and effective marketing strategies to drive sales and meet client goals
Establishes strong relationships with creative partners (E.g. agencies, renderers, media, photographers, influencers, etc) for effective collaboration
Plans events and experiential marketing for presentation centre launches, media, realtor and public events
Negotiates contracts for suppliers and vendors including agencies and media outlets
Budgets and cost controls on campaign expenditures including estimating, reconciliation, and reporting
Monitors and evaluates marketing and sales KPIs on an ongoing basis and report back to key stakeholders
Completes writing, proofreading and layout of copy
Oversees production, layout, and distribution of e-blasts
Analyzes competing developments and industry campaigns
Project Management
Collaborates with cross functional teams including Technology, Intelligence, Conveyance and Finance to deliver well rounded service to our clients
Identifies and manages risks that would impact project delivery and proactively resolves issues
Maintains detailed status and project reports on each project to present to stakeholders
Estimates project timelines, effort and costs for new opportunities
Project manages outside vendor teams for a variety of project initiatives
Gathers and documents all completed project results and reports or presents them to the appropriate parties. Highlights successes and setbacks for continuous improvement
Performs other related duties as assigned by Leadership.
Leadership
Leads by example to manage project teams to success
Oversees the workflow and output of the Marketing Coordinators they are paired with on client files
Supports Marketing Directors on identified projects within their client portfolio and on corporate initiatives
Seeks educational opportunities to improve skill sets and knowledge
Represents rennie at networking events to develop relationships and promote business development and participates in rennie rDS and corporate events
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Education and Experience
Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in marketing or the real estate related field.
Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, real estate or a related field.
PMP certification is considered an asset.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of local real estate market
Collaborative, creative, flexible, and innovative team player team player with an ability to work effectively with peers, senior leaders, and key stakeholders
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, always maintains composure and an action-oriented attitude
Excellent problem-solving, and analytical skills with good judgment to make timely and sound decisions
Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proven experience in creating and delivering successful creative and strategic marketing project plans and concepts
Ability to present confidently in boardroom meetings with clients
Excellent relationship management skills
Advanced skills using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Adobe Acrobat and CRM systems (Salesforce) preferred
Salary Information
The typical base salary for this specific position is from $73,600 to $92,000. The salary offered is based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors including education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and organizational needs. We also have a performance based bonus program that supports our employees by recognizing exceptional individual performance and company success.
Working Conditions
Our home office is located just outside of Granville Island in Kitsilano and this role is primarily office based with some flexibility to work remotely
You must have the ability to travel to project sites as needed, so a vehicle or reliable transportation is required
