Our client is an AI Visual Inspection company with some of the world's largest automotive and industrial companies as our customers.
You will be responsible for deploying and integrating our solutions at client sites. This role involves direct interaction with clients, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with the tech team to resolve any bugs or issues that arise during implementation. The role also requires very basic electrical wiring and mechanical work skills to support the physical setup and maintenance of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implementation of LIVIS Vision System: Install and commission cameras and related accessories, software integration, and trials at customer sites.
• Electrical Wiring: Perform basic electrical wiring tasks as needed to support system installations and maintenance.
• Mechanical Setup: Conduct basic mechanical tasks to assist with the physical setup and upkeep of machinery and equipment.
• Machine Vision Systems: Utilize an understanding of optics, camera controls, lighting, and controllers to build optical imaging systems as per customer requirements.
• Image Processing: Apply basic knowledge of image processing using OpenCV and PIL to address issues and optimize system performance.
• System Setup: Install and configure necessary software, including Linux OS, Nvidia drivers, Conda, CUDA/CuDNN, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Scripting: Debug and optimize scripts during the deployment process to ensure functionality and efficiency (a plus).
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site, providing timely and effective solutions for smooth deployment.
• Issue Reporting: Clearly communicate any identified issues or bugs to the tech team for prompt resolution.
• Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the implementation process.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience with various lighting setups and basic knowledge of camera and enclosure setups.
• Understanding of machine vision systems.
• Basic knowledge of image processing techniques using OpenCV and PIL.
• Experience in basic electrical wiring.
• Experience in basic mechanical work.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and excellent written communication skills.
Additional Skills (Good to Have):
• Understanding of dockerization.
• Basic knowledge of deep learning (CNN).
• Exposure to Python programming and experience in debugging deployment-related bugs.
• Proven ability to debug Python scripts during deployment.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
