Overview:

SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking an Analyst, Policy Remediations. The ideal candidate will be a quantitatively focused, technically savvy, highly motivated individual eager to discover a niche at a rapidly growing company. The candidate must be process and detail-oriented, always thinking of maximizing efficiencies through automation.  What you’d be doing:  

  • Perform and communicate data-based impact analysis on broader issues on a policy level.  
  • Coordinate with Project Management and Compliance on priority of remediations. 
  • Perform and communicate data-based impact analysis on broader issues on a policy level. 
  • Provide support through the analysis and corrective actions on remediations.  
  • Identifying areas of workflow and process deficiencies within existing remediation workflows 
  • Foster collaborative problem-solving with cross-functional stakeholders to address organizational issues. 
  • Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned.    

 We’re looking for someone who has:  

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Products.   
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to solve organizational issues.  
  • Ability to problem-solve, manage workload, and plan to meet deadlines.   
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Proficient in creating functional documentation.  
  • Interest in process automation.  
  • Experience leading, organizing, and executing work for a team of analysts or engineers.   
  • Experience with workforce management software (JIRA). 

 Highly preferred candidates also have: 

  • Previous experience in the Insurance industry experience, preferably personal lines, homeowners, and/or commercial BOP. 
  • Applied knowledge of SQL/TSQL/XML/HTML/JSON. 
  • Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Python, R. 
  • Proficiency in Visual Studio Code and GitLab.
