Summary

The Post Purchase Sales team at APCO Holdings is looking for an energetic Training Specialist to enable our growth strategy and results in 2022 and beyond. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of learning and development projects to fulfill the needs and objectives of the organization.
  • Participate in needs analysis sessions and identify process improvement opportunities to drive growth.
  • Design and/or improve a variety of content such as facilitator and participant guides, job aids, training curriculum, exercises, instructional activities, and training assessments that reinforce learning objectives. 
  • Facilitate engaging onboarding programs and training curriculum that enhances retention and knowledge transfer in a virtual environment.
  • Create a positive, motivating, and productive learning environment.
  • Periodically evaluate existing programs, content library, and learning management systems to ensure alignment to current processes, support ease of use, and track level of content engagement within the organization.
  • Partner with leadership to craft and deliver comprehensive coaching and feedback sessions to support ongoing skills improvement, reinforce learning objectives, and drive business improvement.  
  • Monitor, track, and record employee training participation and coaching progress
  • Develop, maintain and update SharePoint site.
  • Maintain and update Learning Management System.
  • Build relationships to promote engagement and accountability.
  • Stay abreast of new trends and tools in learning and development and adult learning concepts.
  • Provide effective sales training and coaching.

 

Please note, this role is 100% remote with potential travel up to 10%. Stable high-speed internet connection is required.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Successful track record of sales training experience.
  • Prefer three to five years of experience in a high volume, commissioned, inside sales call center environment selling automotive VSC coverage, financial service products, insurance, or retail sales.
  • Three years of experience in adult learning theory and instructional design preferred.

 

Skills

  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Excellent influencer with the ability to establish trust and credibility.
  • Advanced skill and knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and corporate L&D programs.
  • Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with instructional design tools such as Articulate and Storyline.
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, self-motivated, and highly enthusiastic.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and deliver multiple projects and deliverables within overlapping time frames.
  • Confidence in your ability to be successful with a commitment to excellence.

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type, look at a computer, and engage in video conferencing for long periods of the day in a home office environment.
