The VP of Sales for our new, innovative employee benefit will be a dynamic, hands-on entrepreneurial leader who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and personally drive sales from day one in a "startup within a startup" environment. This is a unique opportunity to "co-found" a new innovative benefit within Sword Health and lead everything commercial from day one.

What you'll be doing:
  • Lead hands-on sales efforts for a new innovative solution from day one
  • Drive sales and generate demand in the 0 to 1 phase of a new business unit
  • Close deals with employers with over 10k employees
  • Engage in day-to-day sales activities to develop leads and close deals
  • Identify optimal sales channels and determine product-market fit
  • Craft sales strategies and marketing materials with the Head of Marketing
  • Provide input on pricing strategy and early adopter incentives
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team as the business grows

  • What you need to have:
  • A relentless execution mindset. You accomplish in hours or days what others take weeks to finish. You're known for action, not just talk
  • Passion for the company mission and building something new
  • Resilience and drive to succeed in a challenging startup environment
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Ability to navigate and determine product-market fit
  • 5+ years of relevant past experience
  • Experience in 0-to-1 phase of business development
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
