The Opportunity

As part of our growing Life Sciences Business Unit, we are looking for a Junior Ad Operations Specialist to assist our Ad Ops team in delivering advertising campaigns for our pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior-level candidate who is eager to learn, has some experience in digital advertising (preferably in pharma), and is ready to contribute to a dynamic company.

The Role

As a Junior Ad Operations Specialist, you will support the setup, management, and optimization of advertising campaigns on MDCalc’s platform. You will work closely with various internal teams (Sales, Client Success, and Product) to ensure that campaigns are executed efficiently and effectively, and you’ll assist in troubleshooting and optimizing performance. A passion for the healthcare industry, combined with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking, is key to succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Ad Operations team in setting up, managing, and optimizing ad campaigns across multiple channels, with a focus on KPIs and performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Client Success, and Product teams to ensure smooth campaign execution for pharmaceutical clients.
  • Provide support in creating reports and tracking performance metrics, helping drive operational efficiency.
  • Assist with targeting and reporting for campaigns, ensuring all ads are delivered on time and optimized for best results.
  • Help with the creation of screen recordings, screenshots, and other materials for campaign launch efforts.
  • Contribute to CRM data management and assist with other ad operations tasks as needed.

Your Background

  • 1-2 years of experience (internship or entry-level) in digital advertising, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn raw data into actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (ie: excel) and Google drive products
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive team player who is willing to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for healthcare and health tech is highly preferred.
