Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Google Media Buyer to manage and optimize our paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, YouTube, and the Google Display Network. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in paid media strategies, hands-on experience in running high-performing campaigns, and a strong understanding of performance marketing metrics. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to execute and refine media strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and optimize Google Ads campaigns, including search, display, shopping, and YouTube ads.
  • Budget Management: Allocate and manage advertising budgets across multiple campaigns to maximize ROI, ensuring efficient spend and achieving campaign objectives.
  • Bid Management: Utilize manual bidding and automated bidding strategies to improve campaign performance and drive down cost per acquisition (CPA) while maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Audience Targeting: Build and manage audience segments using Google Ads, including remarketing, affinity audiences, and customer match, to reach the most relevant prospects.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct continuous A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and ad copy to optimize performance.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance, tracking key metrics such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, and conversion rates. Provide regular reports and insights to the marketing team and stakeholders.
  • Keyword & Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improving campaign effectiveness and outperforming competitors.
  • Landing Page Optimization: Collaborate with the eCommerce and creative teams to ensure landing pages are optimized for conversion, aligned with ad copy, and follow best UX practices.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the creative and content teams to ensure ad creative, copy, and messaging align with campaign goals and brand standards.
  • Platform Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Google Ads and performance marketing to consistently improve strategies and techniques.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Google Ads management, with a proven track record of driving measurable results.
  • Certifications: Google Ads Certifications are required (Google Ads Search, Display, and Video).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, optimize campaigns, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other tracking tools.
  • Tools: Familiarity with third-party tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SpyFu is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing budgets, bids, and campaign performance.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills to overcome campaign challenges and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working in a direct-to-consumer (DTC) or eCommerce environment.
    • Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they interact with paid media strategies.
    • Experience with YouTube ad management and optimization.
    • Familiarity with multi-channel media buying, including social media platforms such as Meta and Instagram.
