Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Project Manager specializing in pipeline projects to join our esteemed environmental team at PostJobMatches By WorkStaff USA. This role offers the flexibility of 100% remote work within the United States, providing a unique opportunity to engage with impactful midstream pipeline projects, including natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
  • Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, specifically focusing on FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
  • Liaise with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure compliance and facilitate project progress.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
  • Engage with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings to communicate project details and address concerns.
  • Monitor project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting to ensure successful delivery.
  • Actively participate in business development efforts and represent the company at industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to maintain high environmental standards.

Required Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to convey complex information effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
  • Highly organized self-starter with a sharp attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in environmental licensing and permitting for pipelines.
  • Familiarity with professional certifications is preferred but not mandatory.
