Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Developer with expertise in AWS, Postgres, and serverless-managed instances to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing applications, optimizing database performance, and working with DDLs, DMLs, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with Python and Liquibase is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable applications with a focus on database performance and data integrity.

Leverage AWS cloud services, with a focus on serverless managed instances to ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.

Develop, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data accuracy, security, and performance.

Experience working with CREW or similar platforms to integrate and manage workflows.

Create, manage, and optimize Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML) statements for efficient database schema and data management.

Conduct in-depth analysis and performance tuning of databases to ensure optimal query performance, reduce response times, and improve resource utilization.

Provide technical expertise in database architecture, design, and development, ensuring best practices for database optimization and data integrity.

Optional To Have

Experience with Python for scripting and automation related to database management and development.

Familiarity with Liquibase for database version control, schema management, and migration processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in database development with a focus on Postgres and AWS.

Strong understanding of Serverless architectures and cloud-native database management.

Proven experience in designing and developing applications, managing schemas, DDLs, DMLs, and performance optimization.

Experience in CREW or related platforms for workflow integration is highly desirable.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
