Job Title: Senior Inventory Accounting Assistant - Remote | WFH

As a Senior Inventory Accounting Assistant, you will be an integral part of our finance team, ensuring precise retail inventory accounting across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with retail locations across North America to adjust inventory and generate daily and weekly reports.
  • Execute monthly close procedures, including preparing accurate journal entries and reconciling inventory accounts.
  • Liaise with field teams to ensure inventory counts are accurate and adjust journal entries as necessary.
  • Support the annual physical inventory process while assisting with related administrative tasks.
  • Engage in team meetings and work closely with departments such as Retail Stores, Distribution Centers, Accounts Payable, and Audit.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and assistance as requested by management.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on building strong professional relationships.
  • Familiarity with systems such as PeopleSoft Financials, Merchandise Management System (MMS), Coupa, or OnBase is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not essential.
  • A minimum of 1 year of accounting experience; experience with high-volume inventory is a plus.

Compensation And Benefits

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is \(20 to \)24.50, with compensation tailored to individual qualifications and experience.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work model. Employees residing within 50 miles of our main office will work on-site three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) and may work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
