Job description

Company Description

It all started in sunny San Diego, California in 2004 when a visionary engineer, Fred Luddy, saw the potential to transform how we work. Fast forward to today — ServiceNow stands as a global market leader, bringing innovative AI-enhanced technology to over 8,100 customers, including 85% of the Fortune 500®. Our intelligent cloud-based platform seamlessly connects people, systems, and processes to empower organizations to find smarter, faster, and better ways to work. But this is just the beginning of our journey. Join us as we pursue our purpose to make the world work better for everyone.

Job Description

We are seeking an outstanding senior product attorney to support our Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning teams.  This attorney will be a primary stakeholder to a growing ServiceNow business team, advising senior leadership on a wide variety of product matters and legal risk mitigation strategies, and negotiating technology transaction agreements, including customer agreements, in-bound technology licenses, development agreements and pre-release agreements.  The position can be based in one of our ServiceNow offices or a remote U.S. location.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Current member in good standing of a U.S. state bar.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department of a technology company advising clients in the full range of product development matters.
  • 2+ years experience of product or regulatory counseling experience related to AI/ML, privacy, data security, and/or intellectual property law.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML technology.
  • Significant experience drafting and negotiating technology transactions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the enterprise IT industry, including SaaS and cloud computing areas.
  • A very strong orientation as a team-player and a bias for sharing information.
  • A self-starter able to prioritize workload to set goals and meet deadlines in a fluctuating and sometimes ambiguous environment.

Not sure if you meet every qualification? We still encourage you to apply! We value inclusivity, welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds, including non-traditional paths. Unique experiences enrich our team, and the willingness to dream big makes you an exceptional candidate!
