Job description

Founded in 2012, EasyPost is a YC unicorn whose mission is to make shipping simple for businesses, from garage startups to the Fortune 500. Shipping, now more than ever, is the backbone of the global economy, but integrating the technology-enabled operations of a modern business with the low-tech and complex shipping industry has always been a challenge. EasyPost solves this problem with the first developer-friendly REST API for shipping, and we continue to push boundaries and discover new ways to simplify shipping for all. Our team is rapidly growing, and this is the perfect time to get on board. Join us, and help build the shipping infrastructure of the future.

About the role:
As a Senior Product Manager for EasyPost’s USPS product offering, you will be responsible for leading and managing the roadmap, product life cycle and strategy for this product offering. USPS is the foundation of EasyPost’s multi carrier offering and plays a crucial role in our future growth.

o Manage internal and external stakeholders.
o Provide mentorship to junior Product Managers.
o Build and prioritize a strong, creative backlog of ideas focused on improving and enhancing the USPS feature set.
o Lead and guide product direction for cross-functional projects across engineering, analytics, marketing, sales, and platform partners.
o Be the voice of the customer and help provide context, empathy and rationale behind customer needs.
o Communicate clearly with leadership and drive alignment across multiple teams.
o Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders.
o Make data-informed decisions. Know how you’re measuring success before starting any project.

About you:

o 8+ years of related experience, master’s degree and 6+ years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience.
o You have led growth initiatives for a minimum of 5 years with a focus on growing SaaS businesses.
o Build consensus and listen well, but can also drive hard decisions. You push the pace. You take blame and pass the praise. People love working with you.
o Excels at communicating with team, partners, and executives with clarity, salience, and urgency.
o You are not afraid to take on the unknown and are constantly learning and adapting to new challenges.
o Knowledge of the shipping industry including USPS.
o You have a growth mindset and really enjoy making product changes that improve conversion.
o Experienced in iterative product development including productizing and scaling a platform.
o Flawless product craft and business acumen; expert in balancing user and business impact as well as short- and long-term impact.
What We Offer:

o Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
o Competitive compensation package and equity
o 401(k) match
o Monthly work from home stipend of $50 net
o Flexible work schedule and paid time off
