Working at Atlassian

Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Your future team

The Growth team at Atlassian is the key to accelerating Atlassian's revenue growth by helping customers discover our products, showing how we can help solve their biggest team challenges, and removing the friction to purchase. Atlassian has 250k+ customers and serves users from a variety of industries, spanning Healthcare to Technology. The Growth team is a horizontal team, working across Atlassian's product suite, to inflect growth trajectories of our business.

We're hiring a Principal Product Manager to help us land & expand customers through free to paid conversion and our Land + Cross-flow motions, reporting to the Head of Product for Land & Expand. Join us as we unleash the power of teams all over the world!

Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Identifying strategies to attract and convert new customers to Atlassian across our flagship products
  • Coach, manage and mentor a team of 5 Product Managers to help them define strategy, deliver outcomes and improve their craft
  • Drive data literacy. You know how to use data to make better decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach, focusing on the impact across our existing customer base and exploring opportunities to reach new customers.
  • Succeed in a matrixed and experimentation-driven culture, with an emphasis on rapid iterations, testing and learning

Qualifications

Your background

  • 10+ years of product or related experience
  • 3+ years experience managing experienced product management teams, of ideally 5 or more
  • Set clear strategy, with audacious goals, for your portfolio that provides the team with direction and inspiration
  • Success in developing, mentoring and growing other Product Managers
  • Achieve excellent outcomes by guiding work across different crafts
  • Experimentation or iterative shipping experience in designing tests, summarizing test results and building frameworks to make data-informed launch decisions
  • Creative product brainstorming experience to apply growth tactics to different product areas and think through detailed elements of a product experience

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline.
