Data Engineer (Python & SQL)

This is a remote position.

ITTConnect is seeking Data Engineers who are experts in Python and SQL to fill positions with a US-based client. These are positions with a client who is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and consulting services present in nearly 50 countries.

As Data Engineer, you will work as part of a team working in a challenging, innovative environment for our client. Investigate, create, and implement the solutions for many technical challenges using cutting edge technologies, including building/enhancing their Data processing platform.

Job location: Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil.

Must speak English. All interviews will be done in English, as well as the work after that.

There will be HackerRank tests for this position (on Python & SQL) if you clear initial interviews.                                    

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience as a Data Engineer with strong Python coding skills.
  
• Experience in building data pipelines from scratch using Python only.
  
• Good experience in AWS cloud.
  
• Knowledge in ETL orchestration in AWS S3, and workflow management tools like Airflow, or Oozie, as well as the Pandas library.
  
• Expert in SQL and distributed computing.
  
• Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices.
  
• Strong OOP skills.
  
• Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Good English (oral & written) and communication skills in general.
