The role:

For our Sales Operations & Planning team in Hamburg, we are looking for a SO&P Executive DACH (m/f/d)!

This is an exciting opportunity to gain knowledge in Sales and Operations Planning, taking an active role in the management of Supply Chain decisions for the DACH cluster.

With an eye on financial and business impact, the goal of S&OP is to enable senior leaders to make better-informed decisions and create value through a dynamic connection of plans and strategies across the business. The job holder is responsible for facilitating the S&OP decision-making cycle (see details below), managing content for S&OP reviews with Cluster Leadership Team and supporting the continuous improvement agenda of the S&OP department.

The role reports into the S&OP Manager DACH.

What are your major duties?

  • Coordinate S&OP Meetings: Organize and prepare comprehensive agendas and materials for monthly S&OP meetings, highlighting critical topics that facilitate informed decision-making for senior leadership team.
  • Enhance S&OP Processes: Continuously support evaluating and refining the S&OP process to ensure alignment with business objectives, incorporating best practices and driving operational efficiency.
  • Develop and Structure Market Initiatives: Assist the planning and organization of key initiatives, ensuring effective coordination of demand and supply for market events like product launches and trade promotions. Manage the DACH write-off process.
  • Ad hoc Special Projects: Drive analyses to support decision making on key topics for review in S&OP.
  • Contribute to Supply Chain DACH: Managing content of DACH Supply Chain related performance review meetings


Who are you?

  • University degree in an analytical field (e.g. supply chain management, economics, etc.) and 2+ years of relevant job experience, demonstrating strong analytical skills, with passion for problem-solving and answering difficult questions with data and analysis
  • Independent and structured way of working, with high degree of integrity and reliability
  • Experience working in a collaborative approach, with great listening skills coupled with the ability to manage the scope and quality of group work
  • Data visualization and reporting building experience (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Good appreciation of the financial, Sales and Supply Chain aspects of the business
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken (German is considered as a plus)
