Our client is seeking a HiL, ViL and Test Bench Engineer. By applying, you gain access to the Hashlist network, unlocking opportunities in automotive projects across the industry.


Available locations: This position is open to candidates in Brazil and India (Bengaluru, Chennai & Pune).


Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain Hardware in the Loop (HIL) benches for ADAS domain testing.
  • Perform HIL simulations, focusing on driver assistance systems and virtual ECU simulation.
  • Integrate MIL/SIL models and ADAS sensor models, reusing test scenarios and databases.
  • Execute HIL closed-loop simulations and analyze data based on standard practices.
  • Design and set up HIL hardware I/O, multiprocessor HIL architecture, and actuators/sensors interfaces.
  • Collaborate with Agile development teams and contribute to system integration and testing.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Physics, Controls, Mechanics, Electronics, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HIL simulations and vehicle modeling.
  • Knowledge of xIL tools and simulation techniques (traffic models, sensor models, real-time systems).
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink, Linux OS, and Python.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle electronics, power distribution, and sensor interfaces.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.


Preferred:

  • Experience with tools like dSPACE and knowledge of structured design methods (DFSS certification).
  • Familiarity with ADAS systems, sensors, car bus systems, and trace analytics.
  • Exposure to safety standards such as ISO26262, SOTIF, and Cybersecurity.
