Location:
This role is initially hybrid, based out of our Munich office, with potential remote opportunities across Germany. We are also open to candidates in London, UK, in a hybrid capacity.

About the Role:
Are you passionate about enhancing employee experiences and driving positive change? We’re seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our People Services team. In this role, you’ll support and empower our team members while managing a broad range of People Operations responsibilities. You’ll help shape the employee experience, streamline workflows, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations. If you're proactive, solutions-focused, and thrive in a dynamic, global environment, this role is for you.

In your day to day you will:
  • Act as the primary contact for employee queries, providing clear guidance on People Operations policies, processes, and programs.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience, supporting employees throughout their journey.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders (HRBPs, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Legal) to maintain efficient and consistent processes, with a focus on Germany and the UK.
  • Identify and implement improvements in workflow efficiency, particularly in compliance-driven areas.
  • Proactively refine and build processes, contributing fresh ideas to enhance ways of working.
  • Stay updated on German employment laws and HR practices, serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Oversee the visa and sponsorship processes, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Support benefits administration, including health insurance, pensions, and other employee programs.
  • Develop and apply standardized metrics to evaluate HR programs, using data to drive continuous improvement.

  • What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of experience in HR operations, with specific expertise in German labor law. Experience with other European countries, particularly the UK, is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as the primary HR representative in Germany, while collaborating with a global team.
  • Proficient in HR systems like Workday or similar HRIS platforms, with a focus on automation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience managing employee benefits, including health insurance, pensions, and local policy compliance.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in a shared services or centralized People Operations environment with high query volumes.
  • Knowledge of visa and immigration processes.
  • Experience in optimizing HR workflows, with a track record of building and improving processes.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
  • Why you should join Contentsquare:
