Job Overview

We are excited to invite passionate individuals to join our esteemed team as a full-time, remote Entry-Level Certified Medical Coder. This position is ideal for those holding a CPC-A® or CPC® certification and eager to embark on a rewarding career in medical coding, focusing on the meticulous coding of medical diagnoses and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of medical records to accurately assign coding.
• Ensure workflow efficiency while attaining a minimum accuracy rate of 95%.
• Comply with all company policies, departmental regulations, and HIPAA standards.
• Participate in ongoing education to maintain your coding certification.
• Stay updated on current coding guidelines, including:
• ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting
• 2024 Documentation Guidelines for E/M services
• Commit to a full-time work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
• Capacity to concentrate on reading and interpreting text on a computer for extended durations.
• Self-driven with the capability to prioritize tasks independently.

Qualifications

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPC-A® or CPC® certification is essential for this role.
• 1-2 years of experience in E/M coding is preferred.
